Nu finns Internet Explorer 9 på webben att laddas ner och installeras. Datorer med minst Windows 6.0 (Vista/Server 2008) kan installera webbläsaren. Jag har själv kört den sedan tidig beta och tycker att det är ännu ett lyft för webbläsaren, precis som IE7 och IE8 har varit tidigare.

Bara att köra Windows Update för att installera dom snarast möjligt.

Microsoft kommer under dagen att släppa patchar för säkerhetshål i Windows Kernel samt Internet Explorer. Dessa hål bedöms som såpass kritiska att man inte kan vänta till nästa “Patch Tuesday” utan vill få ut dom så snart som möjligt.

Nu går det att ladda ner Internet Explorer version 8.

Enligt en rysk källa har Microsoft nu fått till Internet Explorer 8.0 som RTM (Release To Manufacture). Versionsnumret skall enligt källan vara 8.0.6001.18691.
Inom en snar framtid bör vi alltså kunna ladda hem vår egen kopia av Internet Explorer 8.0 från Microsofts hemsida.
